Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, operational reporting, or healthcare operations.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise reporting or quality management teams.
  • Experience implementing KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, and performance management programs.
  • Experience leading cross-functional organizational change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provides enterprise leadership for internal operational reporting, performance management, and quality management across Health Plans, Inc.
  • Establishes and executes the organization's strategy to centralize operational reporting within the Enterprise Analytics department, transitioning reporting responsibilities from individual operational business units into a scalable, standardized reporting model.
  • Oversees the development of tactical operational reporting that supports daily, weekly, and monthly management activities.
  • Leads strategic executive reporting that enables informed decision making across the organization.
  • Develops enterprise KPI frameworks.
  • Facilitates monthly operational business reviews.
  • Monitors performance guarantee results.
  • Implements a formal Quality Management program that identifies underperforming metrics, conducts root cause analysis, and partners with the Transformation team to drive continuous process improvement.
  • Develops and executes a multi-year strategy to centralize operational reporting within Enterprise Analytics.
  • Partners with operational leaders to transition reporting responsibilities while preserving business knowledge and service levels.
  • Establishes governance, standards, ownership, documentation, and prioritization for all operational reporting.
  • Standardizes enterprise KPI definitions, reporting cadence, and scorecards across departments.
  • Oversees development and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc operational reporting.
  • Ensures reporting is timely, accurate, automated, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Leads creation of executive dashboards using Power BI and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Implements reporting intake, prioritization, and service management processes.
  • Leads monthly operational business reviews with executive leadership.
  • Develops executive scorecards covering departmental KPIs, operational performance, client Performance Guarantees, service levels, financial and operational trends.
  • Provides executive insight, narrative, and recommendations beyond reporting results.
  • Identifies enterprise risks, trends, and opportunities through proactive analytics.
  • Designs and implements an enterprise Quality Management framework for operational performance.
  • Monitors enterprise KPIs and establishes thresholds requiring corrective action.
  • Leads root cause analyses for KPIs that fail to achieve targets over defined periods.
  • Coordinates cross-functional corrective action plans and monitors sustained improvement.
  • Develops formal referral processes for the Transformation team for process improvement opportunities.
  • Tracks improvement initiatives from identification through implementation and benefit realization.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing operational reporting team.
  • Builds strong partnerships with Operations, Client Services, Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, and executive leadership.
  • Represents Enterprise Analytics in executive meetings and strategic initiatives.
