The Oncology Translational Medicine (OTM) Planning & Execution team is a dedicated group of Scientific Operations, Project Management, and Alliance Management professionals that integrate, manage, and drive execution of OTM’s biomarker and diagnostic strategies across GSK’s global Oncology portfolio. The Director, Oncology Translational Medicine Project Manager, will provide high-quality project management support to the delivery of OTM strategic initiatives, and to the OTM Leadership Team, including the Clinical & Translational Biomarkers, Precision Diagnostics, and Clinical Pharmacology Modelling and Simulation (CPMS) divisions. Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, management and oversight of translational research alliances and collaborations, regulatory submission planning and tracking, and coordination of diagnostic target profiles. The OTM Project Manager oversees strategic and operational management of external alliances (e.g. academic centres) for biomarker discovery and acceleration. The OTM Project Manager drives the planning and tracking of portfolio-level CPMS-related regulatory submissions, ensuring high-quality data packages and documentation are delivered to support oncology asset development and approvals. This role also coordinates activities related to target diagnostic profiles. The Director is accountable for planning, execution and stakeholder coordination across OTM and the Oncology Research Unit, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, and Finance, as well as external collaborators. The Director will schedule and run project meetings, maintain dashboards and decision logs, oversee budgets, contracts, and resource needs, manage risks and interdependencies, support regulatory submissions and compliance requirements, and deliver clear reporting to the OTM LT.
