About The Position

As director of Volunteer Services, this person provides administrative direction, management, coordination and consultation for all volunteer service programs of the health system. Assists withanizational and departmental regulations pertaining to volunteers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in management,munications, leadership,anizational or related field.
• Good written and oralmunication skills, (verbal, interpersonal and written formats).
• Hands-on experience in leadership management, conflict management, resolution and ability to handle high levels of stress.
• Three years' experience in a volunteer, non-profit or healthcareanization with knowledge ofmunity preferred.
• Must attend Leadership Odessa and belong to least two volunteer management affiliations and/or anizations.
• Ability to write and give internal and external presentations to various types, size and gender- basedanizations.
• Ability to be self-motivating and able to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to relate to people of all ages from diverse backgrounds and with diverse skills.

Nice To Haves

• CAVS - Certified Administrator of Volunteer Service as administered by AHA (American Hospital Association) preferred
