Requirements

Assessing risk acceptability
Timely and accurate processing of daily bid and final bond requests
Reviewing new contract bond/account submissions for completeness and compliance with policies
In-depth analysis of annual accounting audits and internal financial statements
Building and enhancing agency relationships
Leveraging strong market knowledge and a proactive, client-focused approach
Overseeing and managing internal underwriters
Training and development of internal underwriters

Responsibilities

Underwrite contract surety bonds - assessing risk acceptability
Manage daily bid and final bond requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Review new contract bond/account submissions for completeness and compliance with our policies
Oversee the fiscal status of accounts, including in-depth analysis of annual accounting audits and internal financial statements
Build and enhance agency relationships — schedule regular meetings with established surety companies, visit accounts, and actively identify and secure new surety partnerships
Drive premium production growth by leveraging strong market knowledge and a proactive, client-focused approach
As Director this person oversee/managed internal underwriters along with training/development of these employees
