About The Position

This is a multifaceted Director role focused on clinical training, professional development, supervision, mentorship, compliance, quality assurance, and special projects/clinical consulting within an ABA setting. The position involves directing and refining company-wide training programs for Intensive Behavior Technicians (IBTs), designing a "Consultant-in-Training" curriculum for Masters-level staff, and developing an internal CEU program. The Director will also oversee the supervision lifecycle, manage academic partnerships, and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) for supervision and education. A key aspect is ensuring compliance in clinical writing, treatment plan submissions, and maintaining records integrity. Additionally, the role includes acting as a lead consultant for complex cases, reporting on service quality to the Clinical Leadership Team, and proactively identifying risks. Requirements

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of post-certification experience in a clinical ABA setting
  • Demonstrated experience supervising interns and mentoring clinicians
  • Strong understanding of BACB compliance, insurance authorization processes, and FBA methodology
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and clinical data platforms

Responsibilities

  • Direct and refine the company-wide training program for all Intensive Behavior Technicians (IBTs).
  • Design and implement a structured "Consultant-in-Training" curriculum to ensure Masters-level staff possess the clinical, soft, and administrative skills required for a successful transition to a BCBA role.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and curate an internal CEU program for both Technicians and Consultants, fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
  • Develop and oversee the supervision lifecycle for new and continuing employees, ensuring all BACB requirements are met with the highest integrity.
  • Work with the Administrative team to manage relationships with universities and organizations, providing interns with robust, real-world field experience.
  • Lead the development and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) specifically for supervision tracking and educational modules.
  • Train and audit staff on the development of treatment plans, ensuring all goals are measurable, behavior plans are targeted, and documentation meets all insurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure 100% compliance in treatment plan submissions to prevent lapses in care and ensure authorization efficiency.
  • Maintain impeccable records for billing and program services to support the health of the organization.
  • Act as the lead consultant for complex cases, personally conducting or overseeing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) or Functional Analysis (FA’s) to ensure clinical breakthroughs.
  • Attend Clinical Leadership Team meetings to report on service quality, provider progress, and family outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and communicate concerns regarding program progress or provider performance to the Executive Leadership.
