About The Position
PruittHealth is seeking an experienced Therapy Director (Rehab Director) to lead rehabilitation services across Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy programs. Requirements
- Current and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or management experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, home health, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Previous experience as a Therapy Director, Rehabilitation Director, Rehab Manager, or Therapy Program Manager.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation operations, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement models.
- Experience managing productivity, staffing, budgets, and quality outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
- Ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the therapy department, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, reimbursement, and professional practice standards.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, productivity, patient satisfaction, and quality measures.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop therapy staff to achieve clinical and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with facility leadership, physicians, nursing teams, and other interdisciplinary partners.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance initiatives.
- Support census growth, admissions, and strategic rehabilitation programs.
