About The Position
A healthcare facility located near Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a full-time Director of Therapy Operations to join its team. This role involves developing and implementing department policies, forecasting revenues, evaluating market conditions, partnering with the marketing team, and providing direct patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
- Current Virginia state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology.
- Minimum five years of rehabilitation experience.
- Minimum two years of management/leadership experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops, revises, and implements department policies and procedures.
- Holds staff and themselves accountable for department operations.
- Forecasts revenues and evaluates market conditions.
- Advises the CEO on needs for effective program operation and implementation.
- Partners with the marketing team to educate staff and the community on care and prevention.
- Provides direct care to patients.
- Celebrates the success of both staff and patients.
