Director of Technology

Forthright Case Management LlcReno, NV
$95,000 - $100,000Hybrid

About The Position

Forthright Case Management is looking for a Director of Technology & Automation to lead the next stage of our technology evolution. This position will own the technology that supports our employees and business operations while helping us use automation, artificial intelligence, integrations, data, and better systems to become more efficient as we grow. You'll work directly with leadership and employees throughout Forthright to understand how work actually gets done, identify where technology can make it better, and then help make those improvements happen.

Requirements

  • Ability to connect technology to real business problems.
  • Routinely automate repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable learning unfamiliar software.
  • Understand APIs and integrations.
  • Ability to administer business technology yourself.
  • Understand cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Enjoy solving operational problems.
  • Experience working with cloud/SaaS platforms.
  • Ability to manage outside technical specialists.
  • Equally comfortable talking with an executive and troubleshooting a system.
  • Curious about what AI can realistically do for a business.
  • Care about measurable outcomes rather than technology for technology's sake.
  • Experience with platforms such as Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, n8n, APIs, AI/LLM tools, Power BI, CRM systems, CMS platforms, Google Analytics/Search Console, MDM tools, or similar technologies would be valuable.
  • Know how to learn, evaluate, connect, and improve systems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify repetitive work throughout the company and develop practical solutions using automation, system integrations, APIs, and AI.
  • Automate workflows involving intake, communication, document generation, reporting, task assignment, notifications, data movement, and other business processes.
  • Become the internal owner of our core software platforms.
  • Improve how systems are configured, connected, documented, and used—and help us decide what technology we should and shouldn't be using.
  • Improve reporting, automate recurring metrics, develop dashboards, and help leadership gain better visibility into the business.
  • Ensure employees have reliable, secure technology and a great internal technology experience.
  • Oversee devices, accounts, software, access, employee onboarding/offboarding, cloud platforms, documentation, and technology vendors.
  • Serve as our internal cybersecurity owner while working with external security experts where specialized expertise is needed.
  • Oversee access controls, security platforms, policies, assessments, employee security training, vendor risks, and incident-response readiness.
  • Own the technical side of our digital infrastructure—including website administration, analytics, tracking, integrations, landing pages, technical SEO, structured data, and emerging GEO/AI-search technologies.
  • Work directly with leadership to develop a long-term technology roadmap.
  • Answer questions such as: What should we automate next? Where is technology creating unnecessary work? How can AI meaningfully improve our operations? What software are we underutilizing? What should our systems look like three years from now? What data should leadership have that we don't currently have? What should we build, buy, integrate, or outsource?
