About The Position

Neighborly, the hub of service brands that connects customers to top-notch local experts who repair, maintain, and enhance homes and businesses, is seeking a Director of Systems. With over 40 years of experience, Neighborly is focused on strategic innovation and building the future of home and business services. As a Director of Systems supporting the Five Star Painting brand, you will be responsible for driving performance and reliability for core platforms including POS, CRM, websites, and call centers. You will lead system planning, release cycles, and long-term improvements, acting as the primary lead for critical system issues and resolutions. Collaboration with tech, vendors, and operations teams is key to driving tool adoption and optimization. You will also be responsible for streamlining tools and processes to eliminate duplication across platforms, building dashboards and reporting tools for data-driven decision-making, and managing external partners to ensure quality and aligned priorities. Additionally, you will provide subject-matter expertise and training to franchisees and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of progressive leadership in franchise or multi-location systems.
  • Expertise in managing vendor relations, system integrations, and operational workflows.
  • Proven track record in strategic road mapping and cross-functional coordination.
  • Proven experience building relationships.
  • Clear, confident communication and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in a franchise-based or multi-unit environment.
  • Deep expertise in system lifecycle management (POS, CRM, ERP, call center platforms, etc.).
  • Ability to diagnose complex system issues and drive long-term solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to build dashboards, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude—and a sense of humor.
