About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Director of Surgical Services (RN) for Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This is a full-time, perioperative leadership role for a Registered Nurse. The position offers executive surgical leadership opportunity with oversight of 114 FTEs and multiple perioperative departments. The Director will lead one of Arizona's busiest perioperative service lines, overseeing approximately 9,000 annual surgical cases and 2,000 endoscopic procedures across 10 active operating rooms. The role involves providing operational and clinical leadership for the Main OR, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Pre-Op, PACU, Preadmission Testing, Anesthesia Services, and CSPD. The Director will lead multidisciplinary teams, direct staffing, recruitment, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relationships. The position also focuses on driving evidence-based practice, patient safety, quality improvement, and professional staff development within a collaborative leadership team dedicated to exceptional surgical care and outstanding patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
  • Active Arizona Registered Nurse License REQUIRED
  • Minimum Five Years of Surgical Nursing Experience REQUIRED
  • Minimum One Year of Surgical Leadership Experience REQUIRED
  • Experience Managing Surgical Services Operations REQUIRED
  • Strong Budgeting, Regulatory Compliance, and Staff Leadership Skills REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CNOR Certifications Preferred
