About The Position

This is an executive-level hospital leadership role focused exclusively on Operating Room oversight and surgical services operations. The position involves leading quality initiatives, staffing strategy, operational performance, budgeting, and surgical throughput across a high-acuity surgical department. The role oversees 12 Operating Rooms with advanced robotics and complex specialty service lines, and has direct leadership responsibility for approximately 50–55 FTEs plus departmental management leadership. The Director will partner closely with executive surgical leadership, surgeons, anesthesia teams, and interdisciplinary hospital departments.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of recent Surgical Services leadership experience REQUIRED
Strong experience with OR operations, staffing, and budgeting REQUIRED
Comfortable collaborating with surgeons and interdisciplinary leadership teams REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree preferred
Experience leading high-acuity surgical departments strongly preferred
