The Director of Supply Chain - North Texas Clinics (HTPN) is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing supply chain functions for Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH). This encompasses supply chain management, strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, bio-medical services, vendor management, and technology. The role involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies, policies, and practices to meet service and quality standards, while managing total costs and aligning with BSWH business goals. The Director will oversee the distribution of supplies and equipment, focusing on improving the flow of materials through the BSWH supply chain. This includes directing studies on service efficiency, performance metrics, cost-effectiveness, and benchmarking for planning and forecasting. Collaboration with leadership in procurement, logistics, finance, and other departments is crucial for process improvement. The position also ensures compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements impacting BSWH supply chain programs. A regional Director translates and implements strategic plans and goals for their area, making final judgments on operational matters and ensuring goal achievement. They recommend policies and organizational changes, plan and execute projects, and direct department operations including staffing, processes, budgets, and costs. Guidance and advice are provided to subordinates to meet schedules, resolve technical problems, and monitor performance. This role oversees a larger, more complex organization or functional area than a manager and requires in-person visits to clinics across the DFW metroplex.
