The Director of Supply Chain will lead strategic initiatives to optimize procurement, inventory management, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence across all PPOA facilities. The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the process of buying materials, products and services while overseeing internal operations for the company. The Director must work as a liaison between our medical facilities, surgery centers, corporate offices and other healthcare providers/ suppliers. The Director will ensure cost effective procurement, accuracy of inventory, vendor compliance, and operational continuity. Other areas of responsibilities include price negotiation, planning, inventory control, budgeting and quality control. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. JOB DESCRIPTION Develop strong professional relationships with personnel at physician offices, ASCs, the Corporate Office and throughout the organization Collaborates with ASC administrators, physicians, operations and clinic managers, and corporate financial teams to meet company expense goals Identify and secure best price, quality, availability and reliability when purchasing products Works directly with Microsoft AX, a robust purchase order system that minimizes overall cost for quality and meets the needs of our medical clinics, ASC’s and medical services locations Develop the contract management instructions and procedures for acquiring the companies supplies, equipment and services in a timely manner with favorable terms Maintains detailed records of supplier and price information Implement sustainable sourcing practices aligned with organizational values Works with operations leadership on inventory control Develops new supply sources where resources are inadequate Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions to ensure continuity of care Ensures materials meet the minimum requirements for quality assurance standards Develop policies and procedures in the areas of procurement, inventory control, receiving, storage and distribution of supplies Coordinate the maintenance of supplies in our medical facilities for emergency situations Establish Key Performance Indicators to monitor cost savings, inventory turnover and supplier performance Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics
