About The Position

As the Director of Supply Chain, you will provide leadership and strategic direction for Benelli USA’s family of brands in all aspects of Supply Chain and Sales and Operational Planning and will lead the Supply Chain team. The Director of Supply Chain partners closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Product Management to align supply chain capabilities with the company’s strategic objectives. The role requires strong analytical capability, risk management discipline, and cross-functional leadership to balance customer service levels, cost efficiency, and inventory investment. You will also collaborate with our manufacturing production partners to achieve a best-in-class service level for the Benelli USA brands.

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and supply chain analytics.
  • Experience with international manufacturers and/or vendors.
  • Capable of performing well in diverse working environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain or operation leadership experience in a related Sporting goods or tactical field with equal type responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, aligned with corporate growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to balance demand, supply, and inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain agility, resilience, and cost structure.
  • Evaluate and implement supply chain technologies and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee supply planning processes to ensure accurate forecasts aligned with sales projections and market trends for greater visibility.
  • Oversee scenario modeling to evaluate supply risks, demand shifts, or market disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to translate commercial strategies into operational supply plans.
  • Develop strategic sourcing strategies to optimize inventory cost, reliability, and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global factory partners and suppliers.
  • Be aware of negotiations with suppliers to improve terms, pricing, and delivery performance.
  • Manage inventory investment to balance service levels with working capital efficiency.
  • Establish inventory policies and controls to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics including turns, service levels, and excess inventory.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to address supply disruptions and demand fluctuations.
  • Monitor global supply chain conditions and proactively adjust strategies.
  • Partner with Finance to align supply chain decisions with cash flow, working capital, and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Development on new product introductions and lifecycle planning.
  • Oversee links between systems for forecasting, budget, shipments, open purchase orders, and inventory management and provide visibility.
  • Work with manufacturing partners for planning purposes and understanding constraints.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for manufacturing scorecards for accountability and process improvement.
  • Lead partnership with the marketing and sales teams to ensure the demand consensus process delivers an agreed upon, workable volume forecast (mid and long term).
  • Oversee the S&OP management reviews, identify gaps and scenarios, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs.
  • Communicate with the Distribution Support Center on all inbound logistics and budgets.
  • Understand and adhere to all ATF and compliance regulations.
  • Perform specific and delegated duties assigned by management.
