The Director of Supply Chain Operations Strategy & Performance provides enterprise-wide leadership and strategic direction across all facets of Supply Chain Operations. This role is responsible for shaping long-range strategy, advancing operational excellence, strengthening governance, and enabling modernization across a multi-jurisdictional footprint. The leader oversees a specialized organization focused on strategy development, performance management, innovation, safety alignment, and supplier governance, ensuring exceptional reliability, efficiency, and value in support of corporate and enterprise priorities. This position influences senior executives, driving decision-making for large-scale transformation initiatives impacting six operating states, over 300 facilities, $3B in inventory, and over $2B in annual material movement. The role translates enterprise and corporate strategy into actionable operating plans, championing modernization, digital enablement, simplification, and consistent performance. The leader manages multiple functions, including Strategy & Innovation (focused on long-range planning, future-state operating model design, enterprise transformation, digital enablement, and analytics) and Operational Excellence & Governance (accountable for performance models, KPI architecture, continuous improvement, operational assessments, benchmarking, and safety programs). This leader also provides strategic oversight for contractor and supplier governance, working cross-functionally with Operations, EHS, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology. The position requires strong strategic judgment, advanced problem-solving, and the ability to influence at all levels while developing a high-performing team.
