Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in purchasing, supply chain, materials management, or related operational leadership required.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience in a health care, medical device, or similarly complex operational environment required.
• Experience leading large teams and complex cross-functional operations required.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute with confidence, urgency, and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, logistics, inventory control, contract management, and vendor relationship management.
• Excellent analytical, financial, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead through influence across departments, service lines, and senior leadership groups.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly, professionally, and effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and online purchasing, inventory, or ERP systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality, regulatory compliance, ethical procurement practices, and service excellence.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience with purchasing systems, ERP platforms, supplier management, contract negotiation, inventory management, and financial analysis strongly preferred.
• Health care supply chain, sterile processing, logistics, or materials management leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Certified Purchasing Manager certification preferred.
