We are looking for an experienced Director of Studio Engineering to lead and oversee technical operations at our PlayDigital division, driving innovation, efficiency, and the successful delivery of world-class digital games.
Requirements
- 10+ years of leadership or managerial experience (strong individual contributors with consulting/influence experience are also considered)
- 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry (slot-focused)
- Full-stack engineering background with strong technical depth
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive cross-team alignment
- Strong consulting mindset, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Define, standardize, and advance engineering practices across all PlayDigital gaming studios
- Influence and guide Engineering Managers to ensure alignment with technical strategy and best practices
- Lead cross-studio special projects, bringing together talent from multiple teams
- Partner with GDK, RGS, and other technology groups to enhance platforms and drive innovation
- Identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of AI engineering initiatives across the organization
- Act as a key technical consultant and advisor, supporting decision-making at multiple levels
