About The Position

This role is for IGT PlayDigital, which designs and builds mobile and web casino games played by millions. The Director of Studio Engineering will lead and oversee technical operations at the Warsaw studio, driving innovation, efficiency, and successful delivery of digital games. The Warsaw studio is a dynamic and fast-growing environment that offers flexibility, embraces diversity, and fosters an international workplace.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership or managerial experience (strong individual contributors with consulting/influence experience are also considered)
• 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry (slot-focused)
• Full-stack engineering background with strong technical depth
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive cross-team alignment
• Strong consulting mindset, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Define, standardize, and advance engineering practices across all PlayDigital gaming studios
• Influence and guide Engineering Managers to ensure alignment with technical strategy and best practices
• Lead cross-studio special projects, bringing together talent from multiple teams
• Partner with GDK, RGS, and other technology groups to enhance platforms and drive innovation
• Identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of AI engineering initiatives across the organization
• Act as a key technical consultant and advisor, supporting decision-making at multiple levels
