Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Engagement, the Director of Student Involvement will provide strategic leadership for one of the University's most visible and dynamic departments. This leader will oversee Campus Programs, the Student Organization Resource Center (SORC), Leadership Development, and ExperiencePitt—the University's student engagement platform that supports more than 800 registered student organizations. The role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team of 25 professional staff and 85 student employees while partnering with colleagues across the University to strengthen student engagement, leadership development, campus traditions, and co-curricular learning. The Director will also serve as the primary advisor to the Undergraduate Student Government Board, helping student leaders navigate governance, institutional partnerships, and leadership development. This position is ideal for a collaborative, student-centered leader who enjoys building strong teams, fostering campus partnerships, using data to drive continuous improvement, and creating meaningful opportunities for students to connect, lead, and thrive.
