The Director of Student Conduct and Compliance is responsible for administering the College’s Student Code of Conduct and providing leadership in matters involving student behavior. This position is housed in the CT State Community College Central Office in New Britain and serves as a central liaison to campus leaders, faculty, staff, and College officials regarding student conduct issues, balancing developmental and educational approaches with compliance to state, federal, and institutional policy. The Director of Student Conduct and Compliance will serve as a senior conduct officer playing a vital role in fostering safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environments across all Connecticut State Community College campuses. In addition, this role supports the specialized needs of the Students of Responsibility (SOR) population. As the SOR Council evolves, the Director of Student Conduct and Compliance provides coordination and leadership from a statewide perspective to ensure consistency, equity, and responsiveness in addressing emerging challenges that extend beyond individual campus concerns.
