About The Position

At NSA, we are looking to add to our sales team. As a Director of Strategic Accounts you will be responsible for the overall management of a limited portfolio of high-value strategic accounts, including the growth, process, customer engagement and overall satisfaction of the customers. In this role, you will implement and execute sales strategies to expand market share across NSA’s key market verticals and leverage NSA’s diverse product line for cross-selling opportunities. This position requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Proven success as an Account Manager, Strategic Sales Manager, or another similar role.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
  • Exhibits excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and address customers’ inquiries.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess a solid understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.
  • Maintains high personal integrity, sales proficiency, and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for duration of work day, daily computer use.
  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Carry and transport sample bags.

  • MBA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at designated distributor customers.
  • Develop and present sales presentations and proposals to customers.
  • Identify, expand, and promote NSA’s diverse product offerings to secure a larger share of the high-value strategic customers supply chain spending.
  • Collaborate with assigned customers to develop and execute strategic sales plans, leveraging NSA’s Field Sales Managers (FSM’s) to generate growth at customer locations nationwide.
  • Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities with assigned customers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product, supply-chain, and operations to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales metrics and be able to communicate performance to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to maintain competitive advantage
  • Frequent travel is required.
  • Active participation in industry related trade shows and associations
  • Other duties as assigned
