About The Position
The Midwest Regional ESC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Director of Special Education. This is a full-time role, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The position is located at the Riverside SWD Unit in Logan County, Simon Kenton School/SWD Unit, and Hardin Northern Local Schools in Hardin County. The deadline to apply is until filled, and the start date is August 1, 2026.
Requirements
- Must hold, or have the ability to obtain, a valid State Board of Education Principal or Administrative license.
Responsibilities
- Oversee special education programs and services.
- Manage staff and resources within special education.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with school districts and other stakeholders.
