We’re looking for a strategic leader to scale our engineering culture, refine our technical roadmap, and mentor a high-performing team. As Director of Software Engineering, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. You will oversee the development of our web-based platform and internal tooling, with a focus on scalability, team velocity, and developer experience.

Requirements

8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record leading teams building and maintaining SaaS applications.
Competency using .NET, ReactJS, RDBMS, Kubernetes and AWS PaaS.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to break down complex and long running projects into reasonable milestones that can be used to show progress to stakeholders and keep the ball moving.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a multi-functional team of full stack engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
Oversee technical design efforts on enterprise software applications, leveraging SOLID design principles on full-stack development teams using C#/.NET backend, React.js frontend, and SQL Server.
Drive our AWS infrastructure strategy, leveraging cloud-native services and containerization for high availability and performance.
Ensure all engineering practices meet rigorous security standards (HIPAA, SOC2, & PCI).
Partner with Product and Design to define milestones and execute iterate towards long-term product initiatives.
