About The Position

PopStroke is looking for a Director of Social & Brand Content to lead the voice, personality, and cultural presence of the PopStroke brand across social platforms. This role will run point on our entire social ecosystem, shaping how the brand shows up online, driving national brand awareness, and ensuring PopStroke stays relevant, edgy, and impossible to ignore on social. We’re looking for someone who has been in the middle of a major brand’s social presence for the past several years, helping shape tone, push creative boundaries, and build real momentum online. If you understand internet culture, know what makes content travel, and are ready to make a splash with a fast-growing brand, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of social media or brand marketing experience
  • 3+ years running point on social media strategy for a major consumer brand known for a strong, culturally relevant social media presence
  • Experience within hospitality, QSR, retail, or consumer-facing brands
  • Strong instincts for social tone, voice, and brand storytelling
  • Ability to concept viral content and brand moments that drive engagement and brand awareness
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Highly creative with a strong understanding of internet culture and social trends

Responsibilities

  • Define the PopStroke Social Voice
  • Lead the development of PopStroke’s social tone, personality, and creative voice across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Drive Social Brand Awareness
  • Create bold, engaging content that drives brand visibility, conversation, and shareability, helping PopStroke break through the noise in the hospitality and entertainment space.
  • Run Point on Social Strategy
  • Own the strategy and execution of PopStroke’s social media presence — building programs that increase reach, engagement, and cultural relevance.
  • Concept Viral Content & Brand Moments
  • Bring fresh ideas and culturally relevant concepts that generate buzz. Identify opportunities to create viral content, brand moments, and social campaigns that get people talking and sharing.
  • Lead Social Content & Creative Ideas
  • Continuously test and develop new content formats, storytelling approaches, and social-first campaigns that elevate the brand and keep our audience engaged.
  • Stay Ahead of Social Culture
  • Monitor emerging trends, memes, and platform shifts to ensure PopStroke stays current, fun, and culturally relevant.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
  • Work closely with marketing, technology, venue operations, and digital teams to create social content that supports venue openings, events, promotions, and brand moments.
  • Turn Moments Into Momentum
  • Identify opportunities to amplify real-world PopStroke experiences into shareable social content and cultural moments.
