About The Position

Step into the role of Director of Brand & Content and become the architect of our authority and organic demand engine in the franchising industry. This is not a content production role. This is a brand and conversion leadership role. You will be responsible for shaping how Franchise Sidekick is perceived in the market—ensuring our content builds trust at scale and converts organic attention into qualified leads. You will lead a high-output content engine spanning video, blogs, podcasts, and social media—ensuring every piece of content not only educates and engages, but moves prospects forward in their journey. You will work closely with the Director of Growth & Demand Generation to ensure organic traffic, content engagement, and brand authority translate into measurable pipeline and revenue. Your mission is clear: build authority, capture demand, and convert organic attention into qualified opportunities.

Requirements

  • Have 8+ years of experience in content strategy, brand leadership, or editorial roles with a track record of driving measurable business impact
  • Have led high-output content teams across video, written, and social formats while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Understand how to build trust over long sales cycles and convert organic traffic, content engagement, and audience attention into qualified leads
  • Think strategically about content—focusing on authority, positioning, and conversion, not just output
  • Are comfortable providing creative direction, including messaging, hooks, and storytelling frameworks, without personally executing assets
  • Collaborate effectively with Growth/Demand Gen teams to align brand with performance and pipeline
  • Have strong project management skills and can manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and workflows in a high-output environment
  • Know how to prioritize ruthlessly and focus team resources on the highest-impact content initiatives
  • Have experience operating within small, high-performing teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Use data and insights to continuously refine content strategy and improve performance
  • Are curious about AI and actively explore tools that increase content output, insight, and efficiency
  • Are passionate about entrepreneurship and excited to help people discover the power of business ownership

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Franchise Sidekick’s brand narrative and differentiation within the franchising market
  • Ensure consistency across all messaging, platforms, and customer touchpoints
  • Strengthen authority through thought leadership, education, and storytelling
  • Align brand positioning with growth strategy and key customer avatars
  • Develop and execute content roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Identify high-impact content themes that build trust and drive conversion across long sales cycles
  • Oversee blogs, podcasts, YouTube, and educational content
  • Ensure all content plays a clear role in the buyer journey—from awareness to lead conversion
  • Create cornerstone content that compounds in value over time
  • Develop strategies to convert organic traffic into qualified leads across all content channels
  • Optimize blogs, videos, and content assets for lead capture through CTAs, lead magnets, and conversion pathways
  • Partner with Growth to align organic funnels with overall lead generation strategy
  • Improve conversion rates from content engagement to inquiry, application, or consultation
  • Identify high-performing content and build conversion layers around it (downloads, guides, assessments, etc.)
  • Continuously test and refine how organic audiences are guided into the funnel
  • Provide creative direction across video, written, and visual content
  • Develop messaging frameworks, hooks, and narrative structures aligned with audience psychology
  • Partner with Video, Design, and Content teams to execute high-quality content at scale
  • Ensure content includes clear calls-to-action and pathways that guide users toward becoming leads
  • Collaborate with Growth to align content with campaigns, funnels, and paid creative
  • Grow and engage audiences across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other key platforms
  • Increase brand search, organic demand, and audience trust
  • Foster meaningful community interaction and conversation
  • Position Franchise Sidekick as a leading educational voice in franchising
  • Lead marketing planning and execution for Franchise Sidekick’s SKIP events
  • Develop pre-event, live, and post-event content strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally to maximize event reach, engagement, and brand impact
  • Leverage events and partnerships to expand visibility and credibility
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content production, repurposing, and research
  • Use AI to identify audience trends, insights, and content opportunities
  • Build systems that scale content output across multiple formats and platforms
  • Ensure AI enhances efficiency while maintaining strong brand voice and quality
