The Kansas Health Science Center (KHSU)-Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KansasCOM) has a 22,000 ‑ square ‑ foot Simulation Center that features two high ‑ functioning simulation labs, inpatient and outpatient wings, high ‑ fidelity manikins, task trainers, and virtual ‑ /augmented ‑ reality classroom, all designed to deliver immersive, interprofessional learning experiences. The Director of Simulation leads the strategic and operational oversight of simulation-based education at KansasCOM. This role includes managing simulation activities, collaborating with faculty to create high-impact educational experiences, overseeing simulation center operations and standardized patient (SP) programs, and contributing to scholarship and service that advances the mission of the University.
