About The Position

Apple Montessori Schools is seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Director of School to lead educators, partner with families, and ensure an outstanding educational experience for every child. This leadership position offers an opportunity to shape a culture of excellence, mentor a high-performing team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. The role involves leading daily operations, ensuring compliance, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, building family relationships, overseeing enrollment and student records, partnering with educational leadership, monitoring staffing and operations, managing budgets and facilities, leading staff development, and utilizing technology for school operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required (Education or related field required)
  • Previous Director in ECE experience required
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based technology
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Montessori Certification or willingness to obtain within first year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of a vibrant school while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, licensing, and Apple Montessori Schools policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children thrive.
  • Build strong relationships with families through exceptional communication and partnership.
  • Oversee enrollment, tours, registration, waitlists, and student records.
  • Partner with educational leadership to ensure curriculum excellence and high-quality classroom experiences.
  • Monitor staffing, classroom ratios, attendance, and school operations.
  • Manage budgets, supplies, facility needs, and operational excellence.
  • Lead staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing coaching initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM and other technology platforms to support school operations and enrollment.
