The Director of Sales will build excellent relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations to generate business for the hotel. This role provides strategic direction to the team of sales and catering professionals to achieve the hotel’s revenue goals and maximize revenue performance. Daily tasks focus on guiding the sales and catering team to achieve monthly revenue goals, including developing action plans, analyzing data, reporting on results, and overseeing marketing efforts. This position prepares individuals for progressive careers in larger hotels or more complex markets, serving as a potential springboard to national sales, a third-party planner position, or even a General Manager role.
