The Stella Hotel and Ballroom, a 80 room hotel with several event spaces including a two-story ballroom, is seeking a confident, motivational Director of Sales to lead its on-site sales efforts, inspire a team, and drive revenue across rooms, groups, and events. This role involves leading and motivating a sales team, partnering closely with the General Manager to drive total hotel revenue, and developing and executing sales strategies to maximize performance. The Director of Sales will actively solicit new business, build long-term client relationships, represent the hotel in the community, and analyze market trends to adjust strategies. They will also oversee forecasting, reporting, and sales activity tracking.
