About The Position

The Retreat at Sunny Vista is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead occupancy growth and community outreach efforts. This role is responsible for driving census, building meaningful relationships, and guiding prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process with care, empathy, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–3+ years of sales experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centered approach
  • Ability to connect with seniors and their families in a meaningful and supportive way
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior housing
  • Established relationships within the local healthcare or senior services community
  • Knowledge of the Colorado Springs market

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve and exceed occupancy goals
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including inquiry follow-up, tours, relationship building, and closing
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including hospitals, physicians, social workers, and community organizations
  • Plan and host events, community outreach initiatives, and networking opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of leads and sales activity in CRM systems
  • Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to align sales goals with operational excellence
  • Oversee marketing efforts, including digital presence, advertising, and promotional materials
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, outreach efforts, and census development
