About The Position

Hypertec is seeking a Director of Sales (Enterprise and Mid Market Sales) to join our Sales team in Montreal. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive regional sales strategy, owning the regional P&L for revenue generation and profitability, and leading a high-performing sales team. The Director will also build strong executive-level relationships with clients and partners, drive go-to-market execution, and ensure operational excellence. Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth within technology, solutions, or services environments.
  • Proven ability to lead, scale, and transform sales organizations.
  • Strong experience in complex, consultative selling and executive-level engagement.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and revenue targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven sales methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and define growth initiatives across targeted industries and solution areas in Enterprise and Mid Market across Canada.
  • Act as a key contributor to leadership discussions and strategic planning in collaboration.
  • Own full regional P&L accountability for revenue generation and profitability.
  • Establish and achieve sales targets, pipeline coverage, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Drive consistent growth through both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Implement performance management frameworks, including KPIs, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with strategic clients and partners.
  • Lead complex negotiations and oversee the successful closure of large-scale opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the sale team and in our clients in areas such as digital transformation, AI, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Partner with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to align on go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure disciplined pipeline management and CRM utilization.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to support successful deal execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and insights to the Vice President of Sales.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate governance, processes, and compliance standards.
