The Director of Sales Development is responsible for building and sustaining Deeley Insurance Group’s Commercial Lines sales organization. This role leads the recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management of Junior Client Advisors and unvalidated/validated Client Advisors, with a focus on accelerating time-to-competency and long-term success. This is a non-producing, hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring individuals advancing into Client Advisor roles have demonstrated the behaviors, judgment, accountability, care and sales discipline required to succeed at Deeley. The Director of Sales Development works closely with Client Advisors in live sales activity—before, during, and after prospect and client meetings—to coach execution, reinforce best practices, and ensure consistency in how Commercial Lines business is pursued and sold. This role also has oversight of the Deeley Internship Program as one of several intentional pipelines into the sales organization.
