The Director of Telematic Sales will lead and scale our North American sales division, playing a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our business and driving revenue growth in North America. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales executive with a strong record of exceeding sales targets, leading high-performing teams, and executing go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of achieving significant sales growth by leveraging experience in selling to SMBs, ideally within a subscription-based business model.
  • Strong financial oversight with a disciplined approach to budgeting.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams through mentoring, coaching, and talent development.
  • Able to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • A strong communicator with excellent verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled at building trust and alignment across stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Adaptable under pressure with a focus on execution and results.
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous development.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and related sales/productivity tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, business acumen and a results driven mindset

  • Experience of working within a private equity-backed business (desirable), including exposure to challenging growth targets, rigorous performance metrics, and board-level stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a pre-defined sales strategy to drive revenue growth across North America.
  • Align regional sales plans with business objectives in partnership with the CSO.
  • Identify market trends and emerging opportunities to inform strategic direction.
  • Leverage experience in high-growth sales environments to scale operations effectively.
  • Drive ambitious sales targets through pipeline management and performance tracking.
  • Lead cross-selling strategies across new and existing accounts to drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales teams with a strong focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Implement structured onboarding, training, and development programs tailored to high-growth sales environments.
  • Provide regular updates on strategic initiatives and team performance.
  • Contribute to leadership discussions to support long-term business planning and organisational success.
