Director of Revenue & Operations – SaaS Growth

Mai PlacementBrooklyn, NY
11d$180,000 - $250,000Onsite

About The Position

We’re looking for a fast-moving Operator with experience growing B2B & B2C SaaS products . This role is ideal for someone who has worked inside early-stage startups, knows how to scale revenue with a lean team, understands software development cycles, and can manage the day-to-day operations needed to hit aggressive goals. You should have experience in sales, operations, product coordination, P&L ownership, and rapid execution . You must be equally comfortable closing clients, aligning engineering and product, managing KPIs, fixing problems quickly, and making sure the business runs smoothly as it grows. This is a true “builder—operator” role for someone who loves being hands-on, solving messy problems, and driving results.

Requirements

  • Experience growing SaaS B2B or B2C platforms
  • Strong sales success — able to close deals and manage pipelines
  • Operational leadership experience (post-sale, onboarding, rollout, retention)
  • Comfortable working with developers, PMs, and technical teams
  • Experience owning or supporting P&L management
  • Fast-paced startup background — thrives in lean, scrappy environments
  • Organized, KPI-driven, and confident in managing execution end-to-end
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • A builder mindset — you see problems early and move quickly

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth across B2B and B2C SaaS channels
  • Manage outreach, demos, proposals, and follow-through on closing deals
  • Build simple, scalable sales processes and reporting
  • Own pipeline health, forecasting, and outbound strategy
  • Run the daily operations needed to keep customers and partners active
  • Monitor KPIs, dashboards, metrics, and performance targets
  • Oversee rollout, onboarding, and customer success workflows
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and fix them quickly
  • Translate customer needs into clear requirements for product and engineering
  • Understand software development and sprint workflows
  • Help plan features, releases, and prioritization
  • Ensure product decisions support revenue and retention goals
  • Support departmental P&L ownership and budget management
  • Optimize resource allocation for a lean, efficient team
  • Track acquisition costs, churn, margins, and financial performance
  • Build structure and predictability as the company scales
  • Operate with urgency, clarity, and accountability
  • Build processes where none exist
  • Drive execution across teams with speed and discipline
  • Create repeatable playbooks and scalable workflows
