About The Position

JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle to lead the teams and systems that help make quality care accessible to the people we serve. In this highly visible leadership role, you’ll oversee Patient Access and Revenue Cycle operations from scheduling and registration through billing, claims, payment, denial resolution, and accounts receivable. You’ll have the opportunity to shape effective workflows, strengthen financial performance, develop teams, and use data to drive meaningful operational improvements. You will work closely with clinical, administrative, and finance leaders to improve billing readiness, documentation and charge processes, payer performance, provider enrollment, and revenue integrity. You will lead teams, establish clear performance expectations, use data to identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure consistent workflows across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle operations. Through strong leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, you will help JAMHI reduce barriers to care, strengthen financial performance, and ensure our patients receive a welcoming and responsive financial experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with current state regulation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, accounting, finance, health information management, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be considered.
  • Four years of progressively responsible revenue cycle experience in a community health center, integrated healthcare, or similarly complex healthcare setting.
  • Three of these years must include formal supervisory or management responsibility.
  • Valid Alaska driver’s license and ability to clear JAMHI auto insurance screening if driving.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Epic, OCHIN Epic, or a comparable enterprise EHR/practice-management platform, including work queues, reporting, testing, and workflow optimization.
  • Experience with Alaska Medicaid, Medicare, commercial payers, integrated behavioral health, FQHC and CCBHC services, and provider enrollment.
  • Professional certification such as CRCR, CHFP, HFMA, CPC, CPB, or an equivalent revenue cycle, coding, or healthcare finance credential.
  • Experience with non-profit and healthcare organizations.
  • Certified Professional Accounting certification.
