The Director of Revenue Cycle Operations provides strategic direction and oversight of Revenue Cycle processes, including Patient Access, charge master description, revenue cycle reporting, charge capture process, denial management, and related functions through quality data, policies, and efficient procedures. This role leads and manages Revenue Cycle projects, working with key stakeholders, and coordinates and implements revenue cycle initiatives. The Director actively monitors operational performance to anticipate and meet leadership needs, maintains revenue cycle KPIs within established industry standards, and fosters a positive and proactive work environment emphasizing respect, quality, customer service, innovation, and teamwork. They motivate, facilitate, mentor, and coach the team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services, ensuring organizational integrity and regulatory standards are maintained. This position identifies opportunities for process improvement, manages departmental budget oversight, and works collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure revenue and reimbursement properly support services provided. The Director drives changes to improve functional area efficiencies and effectiveness, partners with organizational leaders to ensure best practices, and supports payor contract analysis, review, and negotiations.
