About The Position
HPM Building Supply is hiring a Director of Retail to create and foster an experience that wows our customers. This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations of retail operations in the state of Hawaii. This role sets the merchandising and visual standard for every store and yard, defines what the customer experience should look like, builds the retail programs that bring people through the door, and holds the standard month after month so it does not fade once the attention moves on. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record, a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of managing a multi-location retail operation.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in retail merchandising, category management, or multistore leadership
- Valid Driver's license
- Intermediate computer skills are required
Nice To Haves
- Hardware, home improvement, or building materials experience preferred
- College degree in a related field preferred but not required
