This individual is responsible for fulfilling leasing and move in goals. They are also expected to maintain a positive image of the community with referral sources, residents, and employees. The Community Relations Director will lead the sales and marketing department at the community. The Director of Resident Programming II is responsible for fostering a fun work environment centered around celebrating the lives of our residents. They will oversee activities staff in independent living and assisted living areas of the community, plan and lead daily programs, and develop opportunities for team members from other departments to create and lead programs. This role also involves planning and executing special events for residents in collaboration with sales and marketing, recognizing and honoring resident individuality, diversity, and spirituality, and developing rapport with residents to encourage participation. The Director will promote the SLC wellness model by offering programming in 7 areas of wellness (physical, social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, & environmental), develop and distribute a monthly calendar of events and newsletter, and organize and lead trips outside the community. They will also develop partnerships to enhance program offerings, promote the lifestyle through social media, oversee the resident ambassador program, and support seasonal/holiday décor. The role requires keeping program flyers, bulletin boards, and digital signs up to date and performing work tasks in a way that preserves resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.
