About The Position

Epworth Villa is seeking an experienced leader to oversee hospitality-driven operations and resident experience within our Independent Living community. This leadership role focuses on creating an exceptional residential experience through strong service standards, team leadership, and operational excellence across multiple resident-facing departments. The position serves as a member of the Leadership Team and plays a key role in shaping the culture and daily experience of residents. This role focuses on hospitality, resident engagement, and community operations within Independent Living and is not a clinical or nursing administrator position. Requirements

  • Leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, community operations, healthcare services, or another service-oriented environment
  • Experience supervising and developing teams
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build a culture centered on hospitality and resident engagement
  • Experience managing operations, service programs, or budgets
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or significant relevant leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall resident experience within Independent Living, ensuring hospitality-driven service standards across all resident-facing departments
  • Provide operational leadership for Independent Living services and programs
  • Supervise and develop multidisciplinary teams including wellness, life enrichment, transportation, communications/front desk services, and pastoral services
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements that enhance community life
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex resident concerns
  • Collaborate with Health Services and Assisted Living leadership to support smooth resident transitions
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to support resident onboarding and retention
  • Develop and manage the Independent Living operating budget
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, collaboration, and accountability
