About The Position

Neuvant House of Lawrence is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Director of Resident Care. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered care while leading our clinical team in a supportive assisted living environment.

Requirements

Current Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Knowledge of medication administration and nursing standards.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Ability to pass required background checks.

Nice To Haves

Leadership or supervisory nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Memory care or assisted living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete pre-admission and ongoing resident assessments.
Coordinate resident care plans and health service plans.
Oversee medication administration and resident care services.
Assist with employee scheduling, training, supervision, and performance oversight.
Ensure compliance with Kansas assisted living regulations and standards of care.
Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
Investigate incidents, medication errors, resident concerns, and grievances.
Assist with employee orientation and ongoing education.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and respectful communication.
Participate in management meetings.
Serve in the weekend on-call rotation as required.
