About The Position

Albertsons Companies is building an end-to-end AI-powered ordering platform that transforms fragmented demand, inventory, inbound, and supply signals into one trusted ordering recommendation. This platform will help Replenishment Buyers and Supply Planning teams move from manual, fragmented decision-making to AI-assisted and agent-driven workflows that improve service while controlling working capital. We are seeking a Director of Replenishment & Supply Planning to lead the Supply Planning and Replenishment product strategy from our Pleasanton, CA office. This leader will own the roadmap for replenishment buyer decisioning, inbound visibility, warehouse operations integration, and agentic actions that improve OTIF, inventory productivity, and DC execution. This is a highly cross-functional US-based leadership role working closely with Replenishment Buyers, Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing, Data Science, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and GCC delivery teams. Position Purpose: As the Director of Replenishment & Supply Planning, you will define and deliver the Supply Planning portion of the End-to-End Ordering Platform. You will lead the integration of supplier constraints, inbound visibility, warehouse receiving signals, inventory availability, PO recommendations, and demand forecasts into a unified decisioning system powered by AI, semantic data layers, and agent-based workflows. This role is critical to helping Replenishment Buyers make the right decisions at the right time across POs, suppliers, inbound risk, inventory, and working capital. The goal is to improve OTIF and DC productivity while minimizing excess inventory, aged exposure, and manual intervention. A key responsibility of this role will be creating the product roadmap for inbound visibility capabilities, including ASN visibility, dock detention reduction, appointment and dwell insights, supplier/DC flow visibility, and exception management features that connect upstream supply risk to downstream ordering decisions.
