Director of Rehab/ DOR
About The Position
Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) for their CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) setting in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time, salaried position involves overall responsibility for the clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, financial, and operational viability of the rehabilitation program. The DOR will ensure client and company expectations are met, plan and implement clinical services, manage documentation and billing, and identify growth opportunities. This role offers a blend of leadership, clinical oversight, and team inspiration, supported by strong corporate backing and the autonomy to shape the therapy department.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice for Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant.
- Minimum 5 years of therapy management experience.
- Currently Credentialed Documentation Auditor (CDA) or ability to become credentialed within six (6) months.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure overall clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, financial and operational viability of the rehabilitation program.
- Ensure client and company expectations are met.
- Plan, develop, implement, and monitor appropriate provision, documentation, and billing of clinical services.
- Manage customer relations.
- Identify and implement growth opportunities across the CCRC community.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of employees and ongoing programs.
