About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department in a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for the overall management of rehabilitation services, including clinical oversight, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and program growth.
Requirements
- Current PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA license.
- Strong clinical, operational, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous rehabilitation leadership experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and department performance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.
- Support census growth and identify residents who can benefit from therapy services.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing rehabilitation team.
