About The Position

The Director of Rehab (DOR) at Cheviot Hills Post Acute, a 99-bed, 4-star Medicare-rated SNF, will lead a team of compassionate clinicians providing therapy to adult and geriatric patients. The caseload includes patients recovering from post-surgical procedures, those needing ortho rehab, advanced wound care, and specialized pulmonary or respiratory management. The facility is equipped with a gym designed to enhance patient mobility, strength, and facilitate successful transitions back to independent living. Powerback is a leader in physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies, dedicated to helping older adults stay active and thrive through personalized care across various settings including skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT or COTA) or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)) required.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately.
• Thorough knowledge of all state practice acts.
• Ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.
