Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field , such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology
• 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with a focus on leadership and management
• Current licensure in the state of Florida as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist
• Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a rehabilitation setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including the management of therapy staff, treatment plans, and patient care
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall rehabilitation experience
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and coordinate care across departments
• Recruit, train, and supervise therapy staff to ensure a high level of competence and expertise
• Develop and manage the rehabilitation department budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability
• Conduct regular quality assessment and improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Foster strong relationships with physician partners and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
