Director of Regulatory and Safety Compliance
About The Position
The Director of Regulatory and Safety Compliance will be responsible for regular evaluations to identify operational, legal, and regulatory vulnerabilities. This role involves continuous tracking and auditing of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental laws. The individual will be part of a quality team that collaborates to set standards and ensures those standards are upheld in the production environment. Forest River offers a stable work environment that is fast paced. We are looking for dedicated individuals with experience in the Industry as well as other Manufacturing Processes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of NHTSA and FMVSS
- Experience with trailers or RVs and quality control
- Some travel may be involved
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and be able to explain our standards to ensure the highest quality in the finished product
Nice To Haves
- RVIA code knowledge is a plus
