The George Washington University Hospital (GWU Hospital) is a 385-bed tertiary care, academic medical center located in downtown Washington, DC. As an academic medical center, GWU Hospital has the resources and clinical expertise necessary to provide specialized, complex care, including cardiac, cancer, neurosciences, women's health, trauma, and advanced surgery. The mission of GWU Hospital is to provide the highest quality of healthcare, advanced medical technology, and world-class service to its patients in an academic medical center dedicated to education and research. This role is responsible for the clinical and administrative management of the GW Hospital Radiation Oncology program. The Director will oversee all aspects of radiation oncology, assist with providing best-in-class service to patients, and engage radiation oncologists and referring physicians to ensure service expectations are exceeded. Managerial skills are required to motivate the team to achieve its goals. The Director will provide updates to leadership on service utilization, assist in planning for upcoming needs including technology enhancements, and develop financial plans for upcoming years. Additionally, the Director will provide education to radiation oncology employees about clinical best practices.
