About The Position

The Director of Project Management (DPM) – Imaging is responsible for leading and developing a team of Installation Project Managers, driving successful execution of imaging equipment installations across the region. This role ensures alignment between commercial objectives and operational execution, delivering a seamless, customer-centric installation experience. The DPM operates as a senior leader across a highly matrixed organization, partnering with Commercial, Service, Applications, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to enable end-to-end project delivery. The role owns regional backlog performance, revenue execution, and installation outcomes, while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. This role is aligned to the South Region in USCAN, covering the Dallas, Houston, & Gateway markets. This position requires strong leadership capability, business acumen, and the ability to influence across functions to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers while meeting financial and operational targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience as a people leader.
  • Significant experience in project management, including large-scale or complex implementations.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and customer relationship management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage teams of project management professionals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must reside within one of the South Markets (Houston, Dallas, Gateway).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Imaging Installation Project Managers.
  • Build a customer-centric culture focused on accountability, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop leadership capability within the team, ensuring succession planning and talent growth.
  • Foster a highly effective horizontal team across functions.
  • Own regional backlog performance, including project health, installation progress, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive execution of installation activities to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead forecasting of revenue (current quarter and Q+1) with strong commercial alignment.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of key metrics, including revenue recognition, cost-to-install, and operational KPIs.
  • Manage revenue recognition processes in alignment with controllership and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure financial accuracy and discipline across all projects.
  • Drive margin performance through effective cost management and operational execution.
  • Own customer experience across installation lifecycle, ensuring proactive communication and alignment.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of implementation issues.
  • Drive closure of customer feedback detractors (e.g., CSAT) to improve overall experience.
  • Build and maintain strong regional customer relationships.
  • Partner with Commercial, Service, Applications, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive wing-to-wing Order-to-Remittance (OTR) process alignment.
  • Collaborate across shared services and design centers to optimize delivery outcomes.
  • Lead Lean initiatives and process improvement efforts to enhance performance and customer outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of project management tools, systems, and standard processes.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, improving throughput and execution quality.
  • Ensure compliance with GE HealthCare Quality Management System, policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Complete and enforce all required Quality & Compliance training.
  • Identify and escalate quality or compliance concerns promptly.
  • Ensure timely and accurate project documentation and system updates.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and addressing quality gaps.
