Position Summary Playing a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the external influence strategy for Alma Lasers USA, the Director of Professional Relations will lead programs that strengthen brand authority, physician advocacy, industry visibility, and community engagement. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this leader will oversee KOL relationships, advisory board strategy, faculty development, public relations, peer-to-peer education, and experiential activations. This position will also lead integrated commercial educational asset and engagement initiatives, including webinars, social campaigns, roundtables, surveys, and educational resources, designed to strengthen market presence, support commercial growth, and deepen relationships across the physician and aesthetic community.

Requirements

  • Industry experience within aesthetics, medical devices, beauty, preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with physicians, practitioners, media, and partners.
  • Proficiency with CRM, project management, digital square, and analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of public relations, influencer strategy, and community engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure engagement and program performance.
  • Creative and strategic mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while leading initiatives independently.
  • Experience managing events, activations, vendors, and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in professional relations, marketing, PR, partnerships, or related functions.
  • Proven track record managing KOL programs, events, media initiatives, partnerships, or community-building programs.
  • Experience within medical devices, aesthetics, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems, webinars, analytics tools, and cross-functional commercial support.
  • Documentation showing eligibility to work in the United States will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a professional relations strategy aligned with business objectives, brand leadership, and growth.
  • Build and manage relationships with KOLs, physicians/practitioners, and key partners.
  • Identify emerging voices and opportunities that expand market influence.
  • Provide internal insight on HCP sentiment, market trends, and competitive activity.
  • Lead advisory board strategy, including recruitment, engagement, meeting execution, format, formation, and insight capture.
  • Develop faculty programs that strengthen speaker readiness, education delivery, and advocacy.
  • Build a network of educators, and ambassadors aligned with company priorities.
  • Lead commercial educational assets and initiatives including digital informational webinars, roundtables, surveys, and peer-to-peer programs.
  • Partner with marketing on social campaigns that amplify KOL voices and educational content.
  • Oversee resources and recognition programs that foster loyalty and engagement.
  • Measure participation and program effectiveness to optimize future initiatives.
  • Lead public relations initiatives to increase brand awareness, credibility, and EMV.
  • Identify speaking opportunities, awards, editorial placements, and executive visibility programs.
  • Oversee desksides, proactive press outreach, and editorial feature opportunities to secure meaningful coverage and strengthen brand visibility across industry and consumer outlets.
  • Lead the planning and execution of social, digital and press events.
  • Align activations with strategic commercial objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Create elevated experiences that strengthen relationships with physicians, aesthetic practitioners, media, and stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales, clinical, marketing, regulatory to maximize impact.
  • Ensure initiatives support launches, pipeline priorities, and commercial objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and execution excellence.
  • Develop and manage budgets across KOL programs, events, PR, and partnerships.
  • Track ROI, engagement metrics, earned media value, and program performance.
  • Manage agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure efficient execution.
