This role is central to their sales and project teams, responsible for creating accurate, competitive, and well-presented budgets and proposals to secure automotive showroom projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing of retail fixtures and point of purchase displays
  • Effective communicator across multi-functional teams and suppliers
  • Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing processes, printing, and related materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Strong negotiation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Passionate about work and success, energetic and engaging, assumes ownership of work
  • Organized, detail-oriented, good at follow-up
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills across a wide spectrum of teams and situations

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts of the production team responsible for outsourcing manufacturing of fixtures and printed materials.
  • Oversee department tasks including estimating, supplier selection, quality assurance, on-time delivery, and budget management for simple to complex projects.
  • Drive team success on projects by working closely with sales, design, project management, installation, logistics, and client relations to achieve project budgets, schedules, and quality targets.
  • Act as a technical resource, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems for team members.
  • Provide training within the company.
  • Mentor and develop department team members and manage employees.
  • Maintain a supplier base that creates and sustains a competitive advantage, drives innovation, and meets client needs.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Review and assist in resolving supplier grievances, claims, conflicts, or quality issues.
  • Ensure total cost, quality, warranty, and on-time delivery for all production projects.
  • Estimate costs of fixtures and components, including development costs, tooling, overhead, supplier costs, margins, packaging, and quantities.
  • Prepare final quotes from collected data within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Serve as a technical resource on materials, estimates, scheduling, and production needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project deliverables.
  • Develop and track KPIs, driving the team toward continuous improvement.
  • Focus on training, development of others, and leading/building strong, stable teams.
  • Directly manage the Manager of Graphic Production and Director of Global Supply Chain.
  • Provide project support as needed.
